20 Years of Vila do Conde starts at 1:00 AM. Bar will be open before with DJ Arc De Triomphe.

Curtas Vila do Conde will this year celebrate the 20th anniversary of their film festival at the seaside near Porto. With a strong foundation in short film, the festival has since its first edition in 1993, developed to be come throughly multi-disciplinary , moving outside the cinema in it's commitment to moving images of all sorts. Special anniversary film commissions this year will include a title from Thom Andersen (an IFFR shorts jury member last year) and the festival's also the moving force behind Villa do Conde's Stereo gallery and Portugal's short film agency.

Tonight though, the focus will be firmly on the dance floor. We'll be partying with Miguel Dias and Mário Micaelo's collections of pristine vinyl - expect 60's garage, psych and beat with funk and northern soul as the main courses.

No ticket required.
